A few months ago I reached out to Holly because I was interested in writing about credit cards for big publishers. I already do that on here and in my own blog, so why not try to sell some of my content?

Holly told me that wasn’t going to work because she’s seen it all - the rise of credit card journalists and the fall. In fact, she’s probably going to retire this year because she doesn’t expect this kind of work to ever make a comeback.

Weekly Credit Card Tip #23

Some mile expire - others don’t, so pay attention. Fortunately, expirations dates can be pushed back for most airlines if you have some activity (e.g., using/earning miles). For example, United and Delta miles never expire. AA miles expire 2 years after your last miles activity.
