Earlier this March, we shared how together we paid almost $2,000 in annual fees. Well, now taking all of 2024 into account, we are well over that number, even after downgrading some annual fee cards. Read the blog post to see if we recoup the value of all these cards or not.
2024 Update
As a reminder, hard credits are direct 1:1 credits you receive for vendors or in statement credit. Personally I have excluded some, like the $50 hotel credit on the Chase Sapphire Preferred since the top one never used that credit before downgrading, and I don’t expect the second one to use it either. Chime - Intro | A solid, helpful card to get started in building your credit.
