The best ways to maximize manufactured spending is to make purchases on a new credit card with a high sign-up bonus so you’re getting a large return AND if possible, a card that also comes with a promotional 0% APR so you get the money a long time before you pay your card off. TAKES MAJOR DISCIPLINE

Here’s the top-level summary of the groups we used:

  • Buy For Me Retail (BFMR) - we bought over $17K worth of mostly Amazon and Apple electronics and sold them around at-cost to this company. It was very easy to do with their UI and helpful tracker.

  • Pointsmaker - we bought around $4K worth of electronics and sent them to Delaware where they paid us to make a small profit.

  • Aligned Incentives - we bought and sold gift cards with them, helping funnel almost $10K just by sitting in front of our computer.
