A popular request I gathered from the survey is that y’all want travel award deals. The problem is everyone lives across the US, have different timelines, and points availability.

So while we’ll try to provide general advice we won’t be able to use this newsletter to give you specific advice. BUT here’s some resources to help y’all out.

  • Award points newsletter - My biased favorite is Roame.travel’s newsletter which sends daily emails of award flight deals - mostly in business class.

  • Search Engines with Alerts - You can set up free alerts with pointsyeah.com (up to 3) and roame.travel (up to 1) on their free accounts.

    • For paid accounts, expertflyer.com is probably the best for tracking award flights AND specific seats.

  • Award Booking Search - Request an award search booking with us and we’ll make sure we set up alerts AND actively search for upcoming trips you want.

Weekly Credit Card Tip #3

If you’re looking to re-apply to a Chase card you previously had for the sign-up bonus, make sure the timeframe accounts for when you got the bonus NOT when the card was opened. For example, if you’re trying to get the Chase Sapphire sign-up bonus again, you can’t have received a bonus within 48 months of receiving the last bonus.
