Card Highlight for Q3 2025

All-time high bonus with a pathway to the Ritz Card

I waited a week into Q3 to try to see if any better card would come up. But alas, the best credit card to get in Q3 in my unbiased opinion is still the Chase Marriott Bonvoy Boundless card I shared about last month.

And I’ll tell you why I’m unbiased - all the referral links strewn throughout this newsletter are from followers and clients - none of them are mine.

Why?

Because I don’t have this card AND I look out for my clients

I know another “why?” is incoming for recommending a card I don’t have

  1. I’m a Hyatt loyalist chasing Globalist status so every night stay counts - I can’t deviate 5+ days at a Marriott

  2. I don’t need access to a Chase Sapphire Lounge (we’ll get into why this is important later)

  3. I’m at 4/24 and my wife is at 3/24 so we want to save our final slots for cards that will help fit OUR specific strategy

So if I don’t have this card, why should you bother thinking about it?

  1. The Boundless card has its all-time offer of 5 free night awards at Marriott hotels - nights worth up to 50,000 and can be topped off with 15,000 points. While that might not get you into the most luxurious properties, it’ll still save you several hundred dollars on hotel stays even if you stay at the lowest end properties.

  2. Getting this card will allow you to product change into the Ritz Carlton card a year from now, which is a powerful travel card with some exclusive benefits including:

    1. Free authorized users with lounge access

    2. Priority access to Sapphire lounges

    3. Plenty of great travel benefits you can check out in this post

Editor’s Note

The Ritz Carlton card is rumored to go up from a $450 annual fee to $695. When details are confirmed, the card may or may not be worthwhile for the lounge access depending on the situation. Regardless, because there is a downgrade path to the no annual fee Marriott Bonvoy Bold card, there is little risk/cost to you as long as the bonus nights are used.

Or don’t get this card if it doesn’t fit into your credit card strategy. - Curious on how to answer this question or not? See below about booking a time with me.

I’m sharing these referral links to the Boundless because my clients pay for my time to guide them through creating a personalized credit card strategy so they can get the most points to optimize for travel. Because I thoroughly research and get to know my clients, I know what cards they have and can call upon them for links.
