Credit Card Tier List Summary

For new subscribers, I’ve been ranking the most popular US personal credit cards on Instagram.

  1. Barclays Upromise - Intro | A decent cashback card with a focus on saving for 529s.

  2. Credit One Platinum with No Annual Fee - Harmful | Even though it’s no annual fee, Credit One has so many predatory fees.

  3. Credit One Platinum - Waste of Money | No point in getting an annual fee card that only earns 1% on everything.

  4. Credit One Platinum Visa for Rebuilding Credit - Waste of Money | It’s not worth getting this card and paying the fee just to build your credit when there are better alternatives.

  5. Credit One American Express - Waste of Money | Also not worth the annual fee and predatory fees.

  6. Credit One Platinum x5 - Waste of Money | Even though you earn 5% back on popular categories, it’s not worth the hefty $95 annual fee.

  7. Credit One Wander - Niche | Okay… if you can avoid the fees, this could be an okay cash back card for travel.
