I wouldn’t be able to afford my travel lifestyle if I just used cash. Even if I pulled from savings and retirement, it wouldn’t be sustainable year after year. I’m only able to do this because of getting the right credits cards in 2024 and 2025 that give me the points to fly international first class.

Here’s the breakdown: As you can see most of these flights aren’t the best value - but to me it doesn’t matter when you obtain some many points. I’d rather go on that trip than wait for the best redemption.
